Inspection
Work in Progress Inspection
Each factory should have an in-line audit process. This process should perform random daily statistical
audits on a regular basis. Inspections should be performed multiple times throughout the day at each
operation. The purpose of the inspection is to identify any quality problems early in the process and correct
them immediately.
* Each operator must know how to perform the task and know the standards for her operation. This
would include SPI, margins, seams, tensions and proper inspection of her own goods every 12
pieces at a minimum. The In-Line auditor will inspect against each operators or operations standard
and document.
* Critical work in-process inspection points should be established. The points would include Set
Sleeve, Set cup/wing, attaching of Elastics, and/or critical measurement points. Each garment type
will have different inspection points.
* The accuracy rate of each operation should be recorded statistically as a method of monitoring
product quality.
* The In-line auditor should have the authority to escalate issues that are not being resolved with the
Quality manager or Factory Manager in order to have the line stopped and issues corrected.
* The In-line auditor should maintain constant contact with the End-Line inspector in order to get
updates on any issues found and immediate corrective action that may be needed in the sew line.
End of Line Inspection
All factories are required to have their own internal audit process and documentation. We require for all
products to meet a 2.5 AQL Level II Normal Inspection for construction, appearance and measurements.
The final days results should be reviewed with each sew team and in-line auditor to review their quality
output and where they can improve.

Garment Performance Test

ensure that our garments are tested and follow Regulatory Testing.
