ells Lamont Retail is pleased to announce that it has successfully achieved Tier II C-TPAT Certification status through U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).  We are proud to be the only retail glove company with C-TPAT certification status.

C-TPAT is a voluntary government-business initiative that builds cooperative relationships that strengthen and improve overall international supply chain and U.S. border security. C-TPAT is widely recognized as one of the most effective means of providing the highest level of cargo security through close cooperation with international supply chain businesses.  Through this initiative,  CBP asks that businesses ensure the integrity of their security practices and communicate and verify the security guidelines of their business partners within the supply chain.

In addition to the essential benefit of our supply chain being a safe place for employees, suppliers and customers, U.S. Customs offers other benefits to C-TPAT members including:

·         Reduction in U.S. Customs Inspections

·         In the event of a national emergency that results in the closing of air, land and sea ports of entry, C-TPAT status will be taken into consideration when U.S. Customs resumes the processing of shipments.  Thus, C-TPAT certified shipments will have priority access to the U.S. market.
